Up to Date on the Last Eight
How did we get from there to here? Well, in a nutshell, we decided to stay together.
After we being completely inseparable for three months I moved out of my parents' house in a very dramatic sequence of events. After helping Beth's parents move out to California from North Carolina I moved in with them. In that short amount of time I finally took steps to learn about independence. I got my licence, a job and learned to live! After we were together for five months I learned that the man I had fallen head over heals for as David, wanted to be a woman. My family and many of our friends found out. We took a lot of trips, had a lot of discussions, got some fish and a rabbit, made a lot of love and broke up for twenty minutes at a time. We got our own apartment, got engaged and got two cats and allowed our friendship to grow. Spent a lot of money and began to owe a lot of money. Beth's parents moved to Arizona. After we had been together four years Beth lost her job and I got pregnant with our son Chance. Two weeks after Chance was born we moved to Arizona. We tried to move to Colorado. This venture only ended with Beth and her father being miraculously spared but severely injured in an automobile accident with our only transportation totalled. We the moved to the house we are in now in Liberty, North Carolina where our lives were blessed once again with the birth of our daughter Serenity. we've traveled many miles, junked up a more than a handful of cars, changed many jobs, lost some loved ones and gained more respect for each other. We are still not legally married but consider ourselves forever linked and madly in love. Yes, my family and friends know about Beth, however her side of the family is still in the dark. Trust me we've had eight adventurous years together. There's never been a dull moment and as with any relationship there have been struggles. I never regret that we decided to stick it out!
