Educating Journalism

"It's called Gender Dysphoria"! , "Next on Fox 8, how this affects one small boy who's starting school for the very first time". In some twist of fate this is what I hear as my in laws close the front door and hop in their car for their morning dose of caffeine and a paper. Two seconds prior the three of us were cozy on the couch watching the morning news together. Whew! That could have been a tad uncomfortable leaving me squirming in my seat.
Last night my mother in law and I clicked on that great movie "Tu Wong Fu". She said as my father in law was doing that embarrassed man shimmy, "I've seen most of Patrick Swayze's movies but I've never seen this one. Is he some sort of drag queen or something?"
My oh my, can things become any more complicated? God sure does have a sick sense of humor. I'm so far beyond stressed and insane by now that all I can do anymore is laugh. What great material I'm gaining. If I lose my decorating hands and this blogging thing doesn't work out at least I can make a living as a comedian.

You are remarkable in your ability to take all the chaos around you and synthesize it down to smile-invoking sentences. Keep up your spirits for it is YOU who have the right attitude.

You have wonderful children -- that comes through with your and Beth's comments and your outlook on life -- even with ALL its obvious stresses is priceless.

You have an obvious and not so obvious fan club. Keep up your commentary please for you and Beth truly inspire.

One thing to which we TS must be sensitive is in our rush to make up for time and get things "right" we get myopic and self absorbed, forgetting our loved ones need to assimilate and ease into the new awareness. You and Beth seem not to have that problem and as common as I see it in "our community" it largely seems absent in your relationship.

BRAVO ! Beth for staying sensitive to those you love.

    Thank you again.
