Co-Working In-Law

My in laws just returned from picking up a few items from my place of employment. What news awaits me as I turn the corner. TaDa! My Father In-Law has just applied for a job at my store. Wow! That's really something. He's an extraordinary worker and the store really could use his touch, however I would be in an even more awkward position. Even though I've only told one single person in confidence our life of the "secret identity" ; good news spreads fast in a small town. Everyone who works there and as most of this town is related in one form or fashion, many who shop there know. Our family has become quite popular in this cozy Southern abode. We don't go anywhere without running in to someone who knows us. On the flip side of this the last two in this town to be naive of our story are living in our home. Ironic? If Pops gets hired with me at the only store in town the story is sure to be discovered. Plus it would just be enormously uncomfortable to have him in "Shannon territory". It might also put my co -workers in an awkward position. All in all, not the absolutely best idea!
