Nope, Not a Maple Tree

Oh boy! Guess what the theme of week is starting Tues. In Chance's class? I'd bet in a million years you'd never guess. Well I'll give you a hint: What's the most awkward subject in school for the child of a transsexual? Ding! Ding! Ding! You got it! Next week is "My Family" week. His homework assignment is to bring in a picture of his whole family. Great! Just going out on a limb here but I'm going to say that in this small religious town my son will be the only one with a picture quite like ours. I guess I'll send in the one with Beth and I in our matching Sunday best Easter dresses. What do ya say? Oh I am soooo excited to see how the teacher handles this one. Next week poses to be interesting to say the least. Leave it to us to mix things up a bit. Keep her on her toes. I wonder if they teach a lesson on this one in child development?
