I'm a Big Kid Now

Serenity and I were a few minutes early picking Chance up from school the other day and the teacher offered for Seren to sit with Chance in the circle for the rest of show and tell. Oh my goodness what a cute sight. Thank goodness I had my camera. Rather than sit next to her big brother Serenity sat on his lap and took part in show and tell as if she were one of the big girls.
We have also started going to the library for story time and she amazes me with her independence. She will always be my baby no matter what, but she is a little big girl now. I'm so proud of her. I see in her a quiet leader. She has such a quite strength. She's small but mighty.
I am so lucky to have two healthy, beautiful children who are safe and sound with me. I can hug them and hold them and snuggle them so tightly whenever I want. We are so lucky that we can be together as a family. Even though things get rough sometimes we really are truly blessed.
