Grandparent Day

I have to admit that I was a tad nervous today. Chance has started Kindergarten and to celebrate Grandparent Day the class was encouraged to invite grandparents to lunch. Being the loving, involved couple that they are, my in laws worked it out to join Chance for lunch. I was not sure what may come of this. Would there be other people there who "know" us talking to them? Would someone bring up an awkward question or would Chance say something? Would the teacher talk to them? Chance came home happy and we have not yet gotten a phone call, so I will suppose all went well. Dodging bullets, that's what we're doing day by day, just dodging bullets!
