Can Boys Wear Make up?
I had a terrible headache but felt guilty when both my adorable little angels were visiting me while I was sprawled in bed. They kept coming in to check on me and charming me with their cheesy jokes and heart melting smiles. I knew they were bored but lacked the energy to get out of bed and play with them. They were being so sweet that I just could not ignore them. I had them pile on the bed with me and the three of us snuggled and read stories. Their cuddles and brilliant giggles soon eased the pain of my head. I decided to pull out my makeup, hair accessories and nail polish. We had a blast fixing each other up. I never want to leave my son out of the loop so an alternative to dressing him up like a model was to do animal face make up and a crazy monster hair do. I think that sometimes we are so frightened about creating gender confusion that we do more damage by excluding our sons from playing dress up or leaving our daughters out from fishing trips with the boys. It's important to educate our children that our society has rigid stereotypes, however we need to do so without alienating our children. It is important for boys to spend time alone with their fathers and for girls to spend time alone with their mothers. It is necessary for families to spend quality time with each other. Our phobias about gender are contagious and our children will pick up on this causing yet another generation of people suppressed.

I am catagorized as Transgendered, so I'd say if my mother first asked me if I wanted it like my sisters or as an animal, I'd say like my sisters. Most boys are plainly boys so animal makeup would be a great way to keep them "in" and not scooch them away. Great job!
